I have to appreciate their sincerity though.

I personally like the game. I found it somewhat touching and I enjoy the soundtrack very much.

It feels intentionally boring. Like the game is trying to highlight how much of a desperate loser the main character/player is by trying the same repetitive things over and over just so this ONE girl will say "Yes" instead of moving on with their lives and doing literally anything else.
