Once you pass the 2 foxes in the forest you kind of have to put effort into wanting to die.
Side note regarding the SNES version: Some modders created a "Hard SoM" mod. Just google it...
But SoM has never been difficult, so...
But yeah, the game was never really difficult. Some of the earlier bosses seem easier now, though.
it used to be that you could only hit bosses so often, and at the right moments.
but now for most of them you can just hit them constantly.
on top of that, your companions take full advantage of this, and hit the bosses at every opportunity.
this problem is so severe that I suspect there are many bosses you can defeat without playing, just let your companions DPS them to death.
this is my single disappointment with the game. everything else I can ignore, but this is a huge disappointment.
I wouldn't mind if I could just mod the boss stats, but so far I can't find where they are.
That said the werewolves waste time jumping around when they were deadly martial artists in the original.
0, I still play the snes version and that one doesnt magically become easier
