Sword 9th orb and lvl 8.00 + special actions

Hi there, so I finished making all weapons 9th orbs except the sword, just like on the original game and my question is: is there any way to get the sword 9th orb in a legit way in this version?

SNES version you had to use a restart glitch at the very first boss to get it but I want o hope that this remake allows us to get it like all the other 9th orbs.

Also, is it normal that you dont get to see the weapons exp bars progress past 8? Even when the weapon is fully maxed out? You can max the exp bar of the spells but not the weapons?

Any info from any of you guys?

No legit method for getting a permanent Mana Sword.

Weapons can be leveled to 8.99 still, but it takes a lot of work. Also, the progress for 8.0+ doesn't start to climb till you forge the final variant.

The proper way to get the level 9 sword was always using both Mana Magic spells during the final boss. Thats the only way you are ever meant to have the real Mana Sword.

Not unless you use Cheat Engine or something. They probably removed the glitch.

People should remember for once that the 9th orb is only a hack, it NEVER existed in the first place :)

The 9th Sword Orb could be obtained by exploiting a glitch and the SNES's built-in hardware reset.

• Fly Flammie to a certain island you're not supposed to land on and land on it.
  
• Save the game there because Neko is there. This save will have no "where you are" data and is no longer safe to load directly.
  
• Start a new game and play until you are fighting the Mantis Ant and Gemma is done talking.
  
• Hold A+B+START+SELECT to force a SNES hardware reset. This will keep the "where you are" data that says you're in the Mantis Ant fight.
  
• Load your save file.
  
• You will retain all story progress, all character levels, all weapons / magic levels, but you will now be fighting Mantis Ant as your save had nothing to override the "where you are" data with.
  
• Kill Mantis Ant to get a Sword Orb and appear in Potos Village.
  
• Call Flammie and leave.
  
• If you ever get another Sword Orb or cast Mana Magic, the game will crash.

Probably not, since it relies on a hodgepodge of glitches AND a function that wasn't coded in the game but rather was part of the SNES itself.

i have use Cheat Engine for manasword but if you equip it you can never disarm it again
