Game crash ruining the game for me

I bought this on ps4 and love it except EVERY 2 hours like clockwork it crashes with a blue screen making the mana fortress way to difficult as you have to run through everything just to beat the invisible timer. My question is does this crash a lot on pc too? After my 12th crash in 2 days i just cant keep going which is bad because i love the game and the changes

Yep, got the same problem. Every 2 hours or so it would just crash on PC.

Thats so very strange because i play the game on ps4 an PC im quite a ways into the game on ps4 an PC an i have had no problums at all

only had have 2 crash until now and a few bugs like the playtime ingame is showing over 7k and that im stuck in a animation but besides that its just fine

Welk i find if i play 1 hour quit and come back i never crash so those that never crash how long have you actually played straight?

Sounds like a memory leak problem. If you notice FPS drops perhaps try restarting the game before it gets to a point it crashes.

It seems like it is but I'm in the mana fortress and you can't get to the master ninja's, kill a few, grab an item and get all the way out before it crashes... so getting all the orbs and being able to save them is impossible...

EDIT: I did find out there is an auto save that I didn't notice was there so maybe I can recover with that now

I seem to crash when I change screens a lot, so obviously grinding in the Mana Fortress is where this happens quite often. However the autosave function saves on every room change, so I never lose progress because the second I get something I dash for the next door and then back.

It has somthing to do with zoneing and music loops. If the music is looping when you zone it will crash. At least thats the pattern im seeing on the PS4 when grinding the mana fort. And yes there is an auto save. But the devs should give us way more save slots then just 2.

It has crashed quite a lot for me, but with it autosaving every room you enter it hasn't been too much of a hindrance.

It autosaves in the Mana Fortress after every tini tiny Screen. I know the Crashes are annoying, but I doubt that they make the Mana Fortress harder.

From experience, why am I thinking this $45 should be refunded, wait until patches come by, fix up the issues, and wait until Square Enix can put back this game on sale (like they always do) then re-buy it, save money, and save time on this game crashing in my face after 9 hours of gametime?

I can't even get help support from Square itself they re-direct webpage and it says invalid country. So I pre-ordered a migraine? I keep crashing and I can't find one single bit that has been addressed to this issue from the developers. Makes you think, are you paying a company which doesn't care about it's fanbase? The nostlagia is real, but the older version stays better at this point considering these multiple bugs. Why EVEN offer PRE-ORDER with ton of bugs not fixed or even addressed?

Some follow-up on this would be appreciated.

Another thing: every time it crashes, it creates a HUGE crash-dump file (~740 MB)
You may wanna delete them before Secret of Mana fills your HDD/SSD ...

Or just let it fill your SSD, then sue Square Enix that your PC doesn't work anymore and you lost important work data because of it, LOL.

I've had a couple crashes so far. Once when calling Flammie and once after a somewhat unfortunate amount of rare item farming in the Tree Palace. It's really going to suck having to redo all that work in the Tree Palace, but am I really going to stop now? No.

for people where it crashes on the PS4 go post it on the playstation forums, you have a bigger chance they'll repair/patch it there then here on the steam's forums. SQEnix only cares for their console players anyway.
