Crash Issues

Hello. I'm glad that Secret of Mana finally got a remake donated. But the many crashes are annoying. Direct support seems a bit difficult.

Here are some data from my PC:

CPU: Intel Core i7 6700K / Skylake
RAM: 16 GB (DDR4-2132)
Motherboard: Z170 PRO GAMING (LGA1151)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti

I play the game in fullscreen mode.
Full screen resolution is 3840 x 2160.

I had the first crash with Undine. The second at Gaius and the third at the ruins in Pandora and the fourth at the boss in the ruins of Pandora.

Are there any suggested solutions from the developers or do you have the community a solution?

I haven't seen any solutions.
Looking at the game directory, a 600mb "Dump File" is created upon a crash: Secret_of_Mana.exe.20180217_101911.dmp
Maybe send the devs these files to diagnose the issue

finished the game now and need say had also around5 a 6 crashed during the game lucky it seems to auto safe

I have been playing in windowed mode with resolution 1920 x 1080 for a while and it does not crash any more. Believe the game does not stand the full screen mode with 4k resolution.

No dump file for me, just an instant exit. Autosave will be the salvation of this game. I'd be interested in seeing if it is a fullscreen issue. Seems like a stupid bug to have if it is that though.

€ 39.99 for a game that crashes constantly. A real shame...
The content (which has remained the same) and the graphics convince me, however, already. Very nice remake.

Autosave is indeed a perfect solution or a patch that fixes all the mistakes.

I contacted the support of Square, but there was no way to upload anything.

Game randomly shut down without any warning after leveling several weapons for character this is the fourth time now I want to break somthing I hope they fix this ♥♥♥♥ along with all the other problems the game is currently having

I have had three crashes and one freeze. In particular I want to throttle someone because it just crashed after I FINALLY got a cockatrice cap but before I got the opportunity to save.

Crying inside willing to pay 10$ more for them to fix the problems so I can enjoy the game

The game has an auto-save function - when you crash just load that file and you will start right where you left off.

Immediatly after getting loot, move to another area [transition] so it [Auto-Save]s, that's what I did, when farming The Mana Fortress for the [Faerie Set].

Doesn't ALWAYS work (sometimes the crash is too sudden) but for the most part [Auto-Save] has your back!

And how would one do that? I found another cockatrice cap and the game crashed AGAIN when I ran outside and called Flammie with the intent of going to save.

If you ran outside, the [Auto-Save] should have kicked in, are you loading your actual [Save], or the [Auto-Save]?

Nevermind, found it. Not sure why I never noticed it before. Of course, this is AFTER it already autosaved over the file with the cap, so have to grind for it a third time. At least I know what to do if it crashes again, thanks.

Yup, Enjoy, don't forget to Grind that Griffin Helm, I forgot and missed the chance. Q.Q
