25 years later, still unable to get all weapons orbs

KIlling random monster in mana fortress...... That have really low drop rate............ I pretty sure that how you get it. I not sure which one that drop it.... Been so long that I thought about it. Also I not sure what your level on your weapon and weapon upgrade.......

The glove and the axe orbs were missing on snes too. That's kinda funny. They're in the subway but on a map players can't get to. You can also force the missing orbs onto other weapons by skipping certain chests earlier in the game and getting catchup orbs elsewhere but you still end up at the same spot with 2 weapons at 7 while the rest are at 8. You had to farm enemies in the mana fortress for those missing orbs, which are the same enemies that drop the hidden level 9 orbs. You just need to farm it twice for those.

I'm not at the subway/mana palace so i can't say if those orbs are still unaccessable, but clearly still missable if you missed them.

You get the last weapon orbs from the Mana Fortress from certain mobs, so you'll have to grind.

How can the Lv9 Sword be the Dragon Buster, when the Lv8 Sword was the Dragon Buster in the SNES version? DId they change the Lv8 sword to something else? And where'd you get the last Sword Orb? That one used to be impossible to get through normal means.

Mana Sword is tier 9 only if you count the rusty sword as tier 1 (8th tier upgrade). The Mana Sword is obtained briefly by casting both Dryad Mana Magic spells on the Dragon Buster (7th Sword Orb).

Afaik, you could get the last orbs in the mana fortress except the sword one. That one was missing in the snes game.

Yup, the only way to get it was to abuse a save glitch that let you replay the first boss. Now, the question is, is that same glitch still present?

Anyone noticed when you talk to Watts (Smith, dunno the name in english) while equipped with the Dragon Buster -> Not Enough Orbs, i can't rly remember what it was in the SNES version, i guess it was 7 -> ... , so...there must be a Sword Orb?

All weapons can go up to 9 if you cna get an orb, if you used the glitch on snes the Dragon buster would upgrade into the Mana sword and be strong as hell. But you did still need to cast mana magic for the final boss to get the big hits.
