It's Minor Mallet now


Eh, "midget" is technically a slur, I see why they did that

Axe Beak was renamed to Spring Beak, can't explain that one

Honestly, it would've made more sense to be the Mini Mallet. Mini is a longtime status in Final Fantasy, and this is Square Enix we're talking about. A minor isn't necessarily going to be small.

Axe Beak wasn't a rename. Spring Beak and Axe Beak are 2 different (albeit pallete swapped) bosses, even in the original.

In french, almost everything has been renamed differently. It was highly unecessary honestly. I dont know why they didnt kept original french names instead of screwing up the whole game. :(

The only "rename" that bothered me really was the critical no longer saying "x got whacked". Not a big deal but I always found that charming.

This. Everything will offend someone. Political correctness is cancer. Midget mallet was funny. Criticals whacking people was endearing. PCing all of the things makes everything bland.
