Minute-plus screen load times

for some reason, it's taking upwards of a minute to load each screen.... sometimes as little as 30-ish seconds... anybody have a fix for this? kinda ruins it for me tbh...

That sounds like something is heavily bogging down your system. My max load for a screen so far was less than 2 seconds. :/

When was the last time you've tuned up your system?

did a defrag not that long ago...

That's one thing. Cleaning out an erroneous registry, deleting old temporary files, etc is also part of it.

registry...? apparently not... I do go through my downloads folder and delete them periodically!

holy...! Went to about 5-ish seconds load time on the outside! Said I had over 1,000 broken registry items, and 7 gb of stuff cleaned from first menu, too... tyvm! =^_^=

ccleaner is a beautiful thing lol. Alot of people neglect that kind of pc maintence because they just don't know about it. I run mine on average monthly.

well, first few loads after restarting were lightning quick, then back to minute-plus... T_T
tyvm for the cleaner tho! It'll prolly show a boost to my computer, even if this game is being annoying!

Mine are like three seconds at best. Check your Task Manager, see if anything is eating up your system resources.

between ccleaner and avast putting like 20 programs to sleep, as well as clearing out 9 gb of stuff ccleaner didn't get for whatever reason, seems to be better

nope, nvm... I think it might be that it doesn't like me switching between SoM and ANYTHING else... as soon as I switch back from forum, it goes right back to crud

just did a "lap run" of town to rabites and back to town etc...
to rabites: 4.5 secs
to town 17.3 secs
rabites 10.8 secs
town 54 secs
rabites 61 secs
town 76.6 secs

no switching between programs that time... don't think it's system lagg, but tired of messing with it today... ty Seraphna for the ccleaner link, and the suggestion, hope to figure it out eventually...will wait and see if anybody else has the same problem, and see what they do to fix it, then try those.
