I'm stuck, no idea where to go

I just got Flammie and I got distracted while Truffle was talking and missed where I'm supposed to go next. Whenever I talk to him he just keeps gushing over Flammie and won't repeat what he said.

I consulted a walkthrough that told me I needed to take the canon service to Kakarra Desert, but when I go to the canon guy my only options are Gaia's Naval and Protos.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

He tells you that the Cannone Travel to the south is open and
can take you to Kakkara, the desert country. On the way out talk to
Watt's and get him to power up your weapons, go to the shop and fill up
on all the items. Head back out through the cave that took you outside
Matango, and head down-right, where you will find a Cannon Travel man,
although King Truffle told you to go to Kakkara, you actually have to
go to the Ice Country first, this is another point where many people get
stuck, so go to the Ice Country.

Actually, couting the one who lives in the small town with his wife, there is about 8 of them

1. Near Potos
2. Near Gaia's Navel
3. Upper Lands, Four Seasons Forest
4. Near the cave to Matango
5. Next to Kakkara in the desert
6. In Ice Country
7. South Town in the Empire
8. Lives in Kippo Village
