Having Issues With Transition In Desert (Solved)

I just arrived in Kakkara Desert and the intention is for you to walk around randomly for a few frames before the characters mention they're tired and lost before spotting a ship and running for it. I have not had a single solitary problem playing this game until now (zero crashes, zero glitches with characters, animations, AI, UI, anything at all) to which my last attempt here netted me a crash to desktop after about 30 desert frames and no transition to finding the ship. This time I've tried fighting some mobs and wearing down my mana/health bars a bit while running around to actually make it look like they're "tiring out" as the first time I just ran and ran waiting for the next area. Still no ship after 20 desert frames, but no crash yet.

How do I go about triggering this transition if a second attempt is showing the same signs of not being cooperative? Anyone else experienced this problem? I looked back about 6 pages here before making a thread and I didn't see anything relatable to this.

Edit: I didn't crash upon hitting 30 frames this time, it just kept going and going, with a nanosecond long "Now Loading" message between them all. It kept just going from room to room, no crash but no ship. I gave up at the 50th room. I tried completely emptying my mana bars on both girls and letting everyone's health get low and then move a few frames, that didn't do it. I tried wiping a whole room clean, that didn't do it. I tried looking up if there was a certain path you were supposed to take, there was none, just "wandering " in the desert is supposed to do it. Perhaps they changed the triggering event for the ship with this release and I haven't found it yet? Anyone got an idea?

You have to go N,E,S,W,N from the start. Wandering around does nothing, you stumbled upon the right map by chance.

What the actual fark how did I manage to always somehow find the right passage from randomly running around as a kid? Talk about stupid blind luck. Thanks guys.
