There is a guy at the top you talk to for an entry in the Guide and landing there is part of the Flammie Achievement.

Unfortunately the original game had a ton of content cut because it was originally being made for the SNES CD add on and when that fell apart they ported it to the SNES, but had to remove a ton of content to get it to fit on a cartridge. So yeah all you can do there is talk to the guy at the top.

I was hoping early on when the remake was announced the missing content would be restored, oh well, game's amazing even without it

It's just a joke place. The guy has a huge shiny bald head to reflect light at the top of the lighthouse making him the light of the lighthouse.

That sucks, but good to know.

You are only giving half the information required.

IF by some miracle, they put the content into SD2, they would effectively destroy Chrono Trigger. Without SD2 getting cut the way it did, we wouldnt have CT.

IMO, CT > SoM. SoM is great, is a timeless piece of my childhood, but both gameplay and story, make CT better to me personally.

So does anyone know what they cut from here that the lighthouse led to?
Bamethyst38 Feb 21, 2018 @ 8:30pm
Not really. But I wouldn't be surprised if it summoned the Mana Palace or something./

Can't be restored when that cut content was put towards a different project, unfortunately. We'd all love to see what the original vision for this game was but I doubt that'll ever happen.
