In other 2 sessions it was just a strong kick into the opposite goal, like TeHu81 said. Wherever I was, wherever I pointed, Hoof just gave a strong boot to the general direction of the opposition goal. (actually always to the middle of the goal)
As a high ball (when it works like that) its useful. As a strong boot to the opposition goal, is useless.
To Hoof:
(colloquial, football (soccer), transitive) To kick, especially to kick a football a long way downfield with little accuracy.
You can make through passes by manually pointing ahead of the player. It works wonderfully and it's not automatic, so it needs some skill.
Some way to change power of pass and not bend the ball after doing the pass (since you'll probably be controlling the receiving player) would be good (and many people already complained about that, so I guess its something the devs are on), but it works pretty well so far.
It actually works better than in PES, when through passes go wrong because of an internal dice roll and just makes me scream "WHY DID YOU PASS THE BALL IN A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ WAY LIKE THAT?".
You can make high shots on goal with nice bending too...
Like it as it is now.
4 buttons like now is great to play, you have all options.I've played kickoff and SWOS too 25 years ago but nowadays I find SS options better to play.
SS vs kickoff revival for me SS much better.
