I just watch a letsplay on youtube and my say i didnt like the ending (the one where the MC dies) at all. Are there any other endings you can reach or are you stuck with sutch a crap finale?

just rush through the first ending (normal end) and get to NG+.

In NG+, the moon will never become totally black (tested out by sleeping for 10 nights, the last arc of the moon didnt become black) and just do everything else (quest, affinity, abilities, servans, etc) then
