If on the 2nd floor of Gahreesen and can't get the 2 doors open then link to Relto and use the image in the Gahreesen book to link to the bottom floor and then retrieve the KI
This makes me stuck because there appears to be no-other way out of this cell/sewer/walled courtyard except the door. If I link back to Relto (or whatever the library world is called) then try to re-enter Gahreesen, my progress book in the library is set just to that journey cloth in the dead-end area, and the pillar that has the original Gahreesen Link book is closed shut and will not open.
I need either another way out of that courtyard so that I can get back to the start, or a way to reset the pillar so I can get back to the original entrance and get the KI. It seems really ridiculous to get into this loop where its impossible to progress, there's got to be something else to do.
Each book has an image and once you touch a JC it will also appear in the book. You will always have 2 options in an age book.
You can't get to that cell from Gahreesen. There's nothing stopping you from linking to Relto then using the image from the Gah book to link to the start of Gahreesen and picking up the KI.
The only way to get through that door is to power up Gahreesen. Once you have the power flowing in Gah you can go back to said cell and climb to the top for JC#7
When you open your Gah book look down to the bottom right corner of the right hand page and see the dog eared bit of page ... turn the page!!!
Some players aren't thrilled with the deviation from the 1st 3 live the action games and or the addition of free roam, I'm not one of them. If you aren't aware, there're 6 games in total and IMO all have their pluses and minuses, but overall the pluses by far outweigh the minus making all enjoyable to play again and again.
If you haven't already, ensure you have a legal size notepad sharp pencil and eraser nearby for extensive note taking and organization of all the crap you come by.
The forest age where I find myself linking back and forth between the museum and the puzzles looking for similarities is the first time I've felt more at home. Thus far I feel like Riven was my favorite game, exploring the world, digging up journals, studying murals, breaking into the 'laboratory', and educating myself in the schoolhouse to learn the D'ni number system to find the information I needed to understand the rest of the world, being an actual explorer where the answers were there, if I looked in the right spot. But this game is just more like a guided tour with basic puzzles. But I suppose it makes somewhat sense, as the last presence in all of these places has been human, not D'ni, so things have changed.
Still I find myself eager to complete the game so I can move on to the next Myst game, not eager to finish this game to see what this game has waiting for me.
