How to save game?
I am unable to find out how to save the game? I played URU years ago on Windows xp and all was fine. But now with this updated os version it isn't obvious how to save one's progress. I'm sure someone knows.

Thanks.

I'm pretty positive the save mechanic is the same as it was back in windows XP. To save just quit the game and it should automatically save your progress. Let us know if it is not the case. I have the GOG copies and will test this on my own to see what's up. :D Good Luck!

Hello Capt. Blackwood and thank you for replying. Bit of a false alarm actually, mostly caused by memory - or lack of it, and my impatience. I read the notes in the online manual and found a small section devoted to saving the game. One cannot save progress until one enters the tree in the cleft in the Mexican desert, Once inside and when you reach Realto and are given the book, then the game saves itself.

Pheeeew!

Thank goodness for that.

No problem. Yeah, that opening bit where you HAD TO get to the tree to get going is practially one of my main complaints about UrU:CC Have fun!

Ran a test - the cloths (no spoilers) don't save your progress until after a certain point in the game (I've not checked when yet) so seems the above is correct, slightly annoying you can't choose when to save Maybe it's just so you don't miss anything as it's a very non-linear game.
