I found an interface that let you control the trance vibrator on the pc some years back... perhaps theres a way to apply an xinput profile to it as part of a controller?

Got the trance vibrator working on win10 64 with the latest libusb64 and drmnvibe.inf then tried http://tim.cexx.org/projects/vibe/ tezt.exe and it works... (says usb PID/VID is 0B49/064F)

now if anyone could point me in the right direction as to how I could create a windows "game controller" profile, then plug that in say...x360ce to emulate a 360 controller and it's vibration, I think we'll be all set :)

Hi! That's my trancevibe video. :D

AFAIK, the original trancevibrator and drmn trancevibe won't work on Windows 10 due to malformed USB descriptor issues. If there's a way to turn that check off, I'd love to know, 'cause I've got a few pieces of legacy hardware that have that issue.

Otherwise, anything supported by https://buttplug.io (NSFW, but hardware list is now on the front page) should work with the method I use in that video. If you have any problems, feel free to DM me or post on our forums at https://metafetish.club

at about 7:00 in below the tv to the left you can clearly see a laptop being used. i dont think thats a ps4 dev kit. i think they where running a PC build with the headset from the ps4.

The creator of Rez was very much into the idea of making a synaesthetic experience that triggered and crossed as many senses as possible. He wanted to take haptics beyond the rumble in the controller, which is why the trancevibrator was created. I honestly believe that if he had access to taste and smell tech, we'd have that in Rez and Tetris Effect too. :)
