Tesla vs Lovecraft

Please add a firing lock toggle
Please add an unbound-by-default binding which will lock your weapon firing on. My carpal tunnel/tendonitis/RSI would be so grateful! I'm holding fire down on my controller almost all the time and that really exacerbates the problem.

Thanks!

Would auto-fire when right trigger is moved suit you?

Absolutely! (I presume you meant the right stick.) Thank you.

Oh, sorry, my bad. Yes, right stick.

That's doable.

Do you move at the same speed no matter which way you're facing? It feels like you do, in which case this works. But if you are actually moving slower when backwards or sideways this would not work as well. If you have to shoot forward in order to turn that way for full speed movement there are times when this would throw your reload timing off.

After starting this thread I realized I could do this on my own with Controllermate, having a controller button toggle a firing key/mouse click. I set that up and it works pretty well, though not perfectly. Definitely well enough for me to save stress on the RSI, so I am good to go.

Your move speed should be constant, regardless weapon, facing or firing.

Go into Big Picture mode and add/configure your controller through Steam.

You can then bind a toggle, or autofire to any button you please.

@M3mph: Thank you, I didn't know about that. The interface for editing the controller config is terrible, but once set up it work a treat.

Just discovered this game and love it, but any way of making it auto fire at all? I don't get the whole messing with the controller settings thing. I just want to play this like Vampire Survivors lol, and absolutely hate having to constantly pull the right trigger. I bet if you implemented this and re-launched it as a bullet hell game you'd sell another million copies!

Well nevermind I just found the auto shooting toggle for controller in settings. SMH!
