How is this different from Google Play and iOS?
I realize it's been removed from Google Play for some reason (suspicious) but it's still available on iOS for free.

How is this different that a formerly free to play mobile game is an $8 (CAD) PC title? Aside from, perhaps, better graphics, it doesn't seem much different.

Well I can't speak for the devs obviously, but games get removed from the Play store all the time (and don't from iOS sometimes) and then wind up on PC. As for this game, I can't really see much difference other than keyboard controls and slightly better-ish graphics. Looks like microtransactions are still in the game also - but I guess we better get used to that on PC.

Still, its a fun game and I'm glad its on PC now (other than using an Android emulator to play it).

If it has microtransactions, I'm curious why it costs almost ten dollars instead of being free to play, like it is on mobile.
Interesting.

Thanks for the reply!

Well to be clear, you need gold to upgrade and unlock weapons etc - I haven't tried to upgrade or buy anything yet but I assume you can buy gold with real money. I could be wrong though. If a dev or someone else can confirm it that's fine, until I get to that step and I'll post here myself :(

so you can't buy the weapons?

There are no microtransactions at all.

You play and get more rations, and the weapons unlock on a few "days" after you have survived that many days = do enough in-game missions.

You upgrade the weapons with the rations that you get.

There are definitely remnants of what appeared to have been microtransactions, but I have been playing on and off for about 6 hours over 3-4 days and haven't actually come to a point of feeling like I am sitting there waiting for something to happen.

All of the unlockable outfits and everything in the PC version also costs rations, and not unreasonable amounts either. You can easily unlock an outfit or two in an hour's play.

So far I have only unlocked weapons and upgraded all of the weapons I have. I haven't unlocked any outfits, but I have enough rations to do that. I still have 2 more weapons to unlock, so I am going to wait until I have upgrade all of the weapons before I do skins.
