Does this edition feature the "infamous" CGs that you miss..

Do you mean the common routes:
Kud and Sasami with the dogs?
^Present
or perhaps
the one with Yuiko's second CG (where you need to beat refrain for it to be unlockable)
^Present
or Komari's "food"
the choice of flavour relating to her patnies colour? - this one was removed, the CG exists and the choice but the panties have been cropped off... saves playing 3 times for it i guess

All "adult" ones aren't here of course.

The new routes (saya, kanata and sasami) are unlocked by choosing to retrive your notebook (near the start) - this requires the game to be beaten to its fullest (outside the new routes).

Otherwise, could you ellorate which CG you are thinking about? sorry my memory of the game is brilliant, it has been some years and whilst i am replaying, i am still relying on my memories for some stuff, remind me which you need and i should be able to tell you how it is unlocked or if it is present at all

Yep, I'm aware of the H-CGs. I mean the ones like the Sasami one you mentioned or the one where Rin and Komari are looking at the sunset (it even appears in the OP) , also, I'm almost certain sure that the CG where Komari looks at the aquarium wasn't present at my Ecstasy playthrough..
I remember checking the guide in TLWiki where it said you would be locked out of some scenes until after Refrain unless you followed the reccomended play order.

so the Komari one, can i assume you mean where she is looking into the fish tank? If so, this can be gotten in both her route and the common route (though you might need to be on her route for all parts of it), i believe the choice offers "Returning to the class room" or playing with Masato, it is open in most routes but im not sure if some might lock it out, i recommend getting it on the Komari path as it is kind of essential.
Otherwise sorry if i have the wrong image in mind

As for the others
i believe the Kud one is still here, certain of it actually but i admit i haven't gotten it yet as it one of the problem cg's i struggle to get (i don't use guides :P) but the Komari and Rin one is a fixed CG in refrain if my memory serves me correctly

Whilst im heading offline for 2 or 3 hours, if it helps i can upload my current CG's (incomplete of course) if it helps identify the CG's you are after when i return.

I see. I remember getting Kud's CGs after Refrain, but not Komari's. Glad to know it's possible to get it somehow. Your description of it fits perfectly with the one I am talking about.

I do know that one of Komari's CG is only availble before Rin1 is completed. Should be the rooftop one, but I don't know for sure, as I always played Komari first anyways.

hmm not certain but if it is in relation to rin 1...

The CGs weren't cropped in the all-ages version, why are they cropped in this version? Gaijins getting free censorship again?

Maybe he just doesn't know how to zoom out? Is it cropped when you zoom out? you can always find it "elswhere" anyways lol.

it is cropped with zoom out unfortunately (all CG's appear in regular zoom during story progression unless it is a scrolling one. But yeah it is hardly a loss, hardly worth censoring but nothing lost in doing so
