Enfings [spoilers]

I understand this thread will be filled with spoilers. I got "ending 2"m and I am not sure how : In "ending two", my character commits suicide by falling off the roof, which closes the loop with the start of the game. My understanding is that the old man has revisited his past and that the game is a dialogue between is former self and his old self.

What is ending one and how did you get there?

Well I got both achievements and the game ends exactly same way as far as I can tell. I think it only changes the things that lead up to that point based on dialogue. I just went top,top,top,top and bot,bot,bot,bot.
