Not playable for me - memory usage too high (solved)

As soon as I got to the water scene my memory usage was going up to 14 GB and nothing works anymore. I always have to close the game because it's not working anymore.

Anything I can do to make it run?

BTW I could solve it with playing the game windowed instead of fullscreen. When I'm going to play the game in fullscreen and high quality my memory is going crazy in the water scene. Windowed in 1920x1080 and high quality everything's fine... maybe this helps some others as well.

Hey there,

sorry about that - the memory leek issue on the water scene is something I’ve been trying to solve.

I just published a new patch today that may have addressed the problem. However I only have a small number of systems available for testing and I’m not able to recreate this bug on any of them, so I’m very much stabbing in the dark! But hopefully I’ve cracked it this time so you can enjoy emporium in full screen.

(You may need to log out and back into steam to trigger the new patch to download)
