music not turning off

hey guys so i tried to play carx and i heard music and after a minute or two i realized it was coming from the game and there's no way to turn it down or off ive tried everything. help?

Is it possible that you launched the video of the game in steam and did not turn it off?

Only thing that sometimes can work is killing the steam web client program after the game has loaded.

if u go into the game setting you can adjust the music audio in there that should solve your problem

Tried that, even with the new v2 update. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling but the music still plays. I realise this is still a beta version, hopefully they will get it sorted.

I contacted support and they said to disable Steam Overlay, and it worked!

What I did was go into the CarX game properties in my game library:
under General turn off "Enable Steam Overlay While In Game".
I also deleted the "In-Game Overlay Data".
That worked for me.
Also don't forget to go into settings in the game and adjust the slider to your desired in game music volume.
