Stupid question about chat

How tf am I supposed to change my chat type? It's stuck on race and I can't figure out how to switch it to general chat chat to actually talk to people.

race chat means you are in the lobby of online. that what i know. the chat is very buggy

Ah ok, thanks for the replies. I guess I won't be able to chat with anyone until it gets fixed or idk

you just have to make sure to type when you enter the session just to make sure someone can read it and if it doesn't work you gotta rellog to game
