No car sound

Hello , I have a problem with game for some time , after few minutes or seconds of drifting the car sound just stop working , can only hear wheels sliding , on serwers can hear other cars but not mine , tested with different cars and its on all of them. Im using keyboard , normal headphones.

yeah this as a biiiig issue in the previous version of the game, they said they fixed it but as uve experienced, that isnt exactly the case...
id say u shouldgo to their discord and let them know about the problem there through personal messages, as its easier to provide info that way (and its a very active server)
i havent had any real issues with the sound, apart from sometimes it going away for a second, but when i change gears its alright.

Same here.....after a couple of races the sound dissappears and comes back minutes later...if it does.....i do hear the engine sound of other cars but not mine...just the wheels squeaking.

After one od updates my problem got fixed , idk how but its doesnt bug any more. Also try to go to carx local files in steam library and choose last option , "check files " idk how is it called in ENG

ive had some moments, moslty on full kami roadd servers, in my bmw m4.. when i drift to long on max rev, the sound would disappear but came back when revs went down. at that moment there were alot of sounds from the other cars..
my guess is that all the other sounds are played above ours and are so dominant our own sound doesnt get heard.

then again, im not a developer o im just guessing.

also, on almost every car i cant hear the turbo... and if i do its occasionally, very rare...

and it would be awesome to hear the turbo no matter what angle i look at the car, now if i hear it its only when looking at my hood.

Yes, the problem still appears for me too. I would say, that it's a bit less frequent after last update, but it is still there. If it helps - same as mr. "SH1FT|Bread God" two replies above this one - I am using 4M Loki (BMW M4) too, all the time. Haven't tried much other cars - just a bit testing with some, but fell in love with 4M and it is my drift car. So it could be linked to that car a bit?

And it is same, as I've written in another discussion (link can be found up in my reply #3), it is random and it very often appears when there is one or more cars close to me. But it can happen too when no car is near.

Wishing you good luck and have my fingers crossed, you can find a fix.

At the moment, there is a missing sound on some cars. We are studying this problem and will try to fix it in the following updates.

its still happening as of 2020 ... my drift modded fujin sx has no engine sound ... the hachi-roku has engine sound though ... really annoying to play with only exhaust backfire noise
