About the single player...

How is it? In the past I bought a game that was purely multiplayer but had a single-player tag because of bot matches, so I'm kinda wary since then. Is it an campaign mode or an Daytona-like arcade of choosing a single race with bots or what?

Its alright, theres no plot or anything, its just unlock this corse/car with X amount of coins. You play solo with the option of having a ghost car or not. Ghosts are race, car and map type based. Its easer to earn coins in single player, but you can earn coins in multiplayer too.

If cash isnt the limiting factor for unlocking things, it will be your level.

Its perferred to have a controller/wheel for this game, but keyboard is playable too once you get the hang of it.
