By online comps do you just mean when you start the tiny contests? all you get seem to be xp, not any actual money prize, but you only get 1-1 ratio of money, if its money i find just doing the single player to be more beneficial.
If the contests don't result in a lot of XP, then you are absolutely right that online is as good as useless for leveling.
well from what ive seen i guess you could spam it to get xp provided you come first, with 4 people, you get either 75,50,25 or 0 based on position, but you dont get money, at least i havent noticed it.
Yeh, even if you win the most you'd usually get in that sector is about 4-5k .. which is only 4k. So to match 200 in single player, say you win .. 3 times you'd get tops 15k gold .. compared to in single player where you'd get close to 100k ..
if they matched online play to be like the car bonuses in single player it would make playing online a much more beneficial, so instead of getting a 1-1 ratio get a 1-5 ..
Navaro Base A, 15-17k points, 105-120k money, 1:30 to 1:40.
