This game's actually decent. Not at all what I expected, didn't think turf wars and hunger would be the primary mechanics, and it's a bit tedious trying to get the one creature you need to hunt to spawn, but decent. However, there's a GLARING flaw that make me say not to bother, just play the second one.

there's a single manual save point on the quite large map with no autosaves. And the only doctor's right next to it, with healing items being slow and weak. Sleeping's optional so you may end up far afield before returning, or just forget to save before you sleep (there's no save and sleep option, it just says to make sure not to forget to do one after the other in the tutorial.) bit of an issue when you get jumped by a gang of randomly roaming cats or something, because you needed to be in thier turf or on the other side of the screen half an hour's journey away.

Compounding on this, it only plays in windowed despite having a fullscreen button. And it's a normal window, there's no prompt or anything to stop you accidentally hit the big "close" button. Say from trying to quickly stop your music, double click when closing a different window, or clicking back onto the window. Lost hours of progress because I wanted to explore the map, had to suddenly pause and misclicked. Which I would normally consider entirely my fault, but I'd selected fullscreen mode to stop this exact scenario, and it just snapped me back immediately while still saying I was in fullscreen.
