Do I even bother with the ten year achievement?

I am this close with 100%-ing the game... but I don't want to.

I've gotten nearly all of them except the Mystic and Forest colony achievements, plus the five-year one (I'm gonna quickly make new files just to get the first two). I started my own colony on my fourth year, after I conquered the whole map as Mountain Domain. Figure that reconquering all of that again, as Storm Clan, is going to take about a year, so that achievement will happen naturally.

But the ten-year one is going to be so freakin' tedious. I'm either going to be playing the game naturally for an additional five years, which sounds mind-numbing considering I've done everything, or sleep for those five years. The second option still sucks because sleeping that long is going to decimate my friendships (I've gotten five stars with EVERYONE), plus ruin most of the territory I reclaimed.

I really wanted to 100% this game before moving on to the sequel.

Do I just say I've completed it and call it a day? Has anyone here even gotten that achievement, and was it worth it?

Here's an idea! Sleep for 5 years, but don't save! You'll get the achievement on Steam without it actually impacting your save file.

if you try the sleep-speed run option, maybe make a copy to keep the original file as like the "honest" run lol or, if anything, just let the 10-year achievement be completed as u randomly go back to the game so at least every now and then when you get in the mood for it, you still have a goal in mind and can take needed breaks.

personally, i want to get all of them (including the 10-year) and am tryna remind myself that part of the fun of this game is just turning my brain off and being in cat land, which allows me to take my time with certain achievement completion. so if it doesn't seem fun to get the 10-year yet, call it a day and return when you're in the mood. it may feel more satisfying getting the 10-year that way vs facing burnout. the game will still be there as long as u keep the save so there's no need to immediately decide anyhow :)
