I SUCK at getting food! Starving, please help!

What should I do? I sneak up to the mouse/rabbit/crow etc and I get close but then it runs away when I press the pounce button! I'm at like 50% and have only managed berries and butterflies, I dunno what I'm doing so poorly?

Go to the mining cave. You can easily corner prey and claw it to death there until you get better at hunting.

I don't even have the game and I can tell it's a whole different path from Warrior Cats just from the reviews. I don't see any Shadowclan, Thunderclan, Windclan or Riverclan. I don't see Starclan or the Dark Forest. I don't see any colony leaders with nine lives.

I haven't read warrior cats and I had a look online.
I still dont think it' similar. Big cat's have hunt in packs for ages, you just take out the farming for combat and this is basically stardew valley for cats.

i have read warriors and it is similar to cattails but is only 'magical' in one way pretty much being starclan and the dark forest. cattails has more of the magical vibe.
