Sniper Elite V2
Mosin Nagant Bug - Scope not lined up straight
I'm on the mission after obtaining the Mosin Nagant rifle. I made it this far but now the scope is making it hard to progress.

The scope is not lined up straight - in order to hit a target at a distance I have to aim high AND offset the vertical crosshair to the right making long range shots even harder.

I can't tell if this was deliberate on the part of the devs (basing it on IRL Mosin Nagant scope/rifle mechanics) or if it's a game bug.

Does anyone here know?

did you change difficulty? cause it looks like you're playing with wind and gravity on... btw nobody enforces you to use Mosin Nagant when the game give it to you, you loose your old rifle but it's still somewhere on the floor, just take it and keep playing...

Major Konig is correct. You don't have to keep playing with that rifle if you don't want to, just pick up your old rifle & carry on. As for a bug with the Mosin Nagant, I agree with Major Konig again, in that your wind & gravity effects could be turned on. I've been playing this game since it was released & the Mosin Nagant is my favorite rifle to use in game, & I've never seen such a bug that makes the scope do that. I always play on Elite difficulty where wind & gravity are turned on & thus affect where you have to aim, (such as where you mentioned). I've made some pretty long shots using the Mosin, & have found it to be a very reliable rifle. No bugs.

Sounds like you somehow change your difficulty settings from cadet( which gives your rifle that"laser, pin point accuracy") which gives you the lowest points setting for all rifle shots.Marksman gives you a sighting point in the scope view,so you can hit targets out to MAXIMUM RANGE. Like,in WW2 the average sniper shot was at less than 90 meters!!!
