Yeah, like you mentioned, the game's mechanics as far as stealth goes is....well, it's just not my cup of tea.
I've played one of the most famous stealth/ survivor horror series there is: Silent Hill.
In this game, needing to do all that crouching while creeping around? Too slow and cumbersome.
And I know this may be nitpicking, but when I do have to have the main character run a bit but she gets winded & out-of-breath, the faces she makes as she's breathing heavily annoy the crap out of me.
Now, would you happen to know - or anybody else reading this post - if the company that made/ put out this game is still a viable company?
I went to their web site and there's a section for "Contact Us" here:
https://www.remothered.com/contact-us-2/
I filled out their form and submitted it, but that's going on three weeks ago with no reply.
I went to the game's Facebook page, and on the "About" section they have an e-mail address listed: pr@remothered.com
I sent them an e-mail.....but that one's going on two weeks with no reply.
Anybody know anything?

Well, it's been well over a month and I never received a reply from customer/ tech support at the makers of the Remothered game. I tried at both their web site, and, from their Facebook page.
Oh well; that stinks.
It's just not my type of horror/ survival game; can't like 'em all, eh? ;)
Just to see the game through and check out its story-line, I'd be willing to try a game trainer (to get something like Invisibility Mode; Infinite Stamina; etc.). Yes, I realize it's a form of cheating, but it's not like this is an online-type-of-game where I'd be competing against others. I did find a trainer at the web site of CheatHappens, but you have to pay for it, it's not a free trainer.
Bummer.

Listen to the music. It will get more intense the closer he is to you. If he actually sees you, run away. If you run away from him, you won't run out of stamina. While you run away try to take as many turns as possible. You will also bash through doors quickly. Try to make it to a closet where you can hide. If he still sees you, you can't access it, in which case you need to get further away. Once the red outline on the screen disappears and the music calms down you're safe. You can also pick up a scissors, knife or something and let him catch you at which point you'll use the knife, stunning him briefly. If he hadn't already spotted you don't ever run. If he is blocking a certain passage you need to go through or a spot you need to access, all you can do is wait.
In the case of getting out of the bedroom, you can just as well wait, he should eventually be going away. Otherwise just trigger him, run away and try to hide somewhere else, where you are not boxed in.
As far as stealth games go. All stealth games require a certain amount of patience and you needing to take it slow and quiet. If you don't like this game, I guess it is what it is.
I personally don't know about any cheats, but I'm playing this on Xbox.
Anyway, if you just want to see the story, I guess you can just watch a youtube playtrough.
