Black Screen Bug

Im still getting black screens on missions after cutscenes :<

Apparently it is a fullscreen bug and playing in window/borderless mode will fix it.

Nothing of the sort, still a black screen. At least it rarely appears now.

If it happens, just Alt-Tab in and out. It works for me, I'm sure others will follow suit.

Tabbing in and out cause blackscreen for me xD

And this is more like the truth. I noticed if I have the browser open during the game. Black screen appears more often

Really? I've been having this ♥♥♥♥ when I play back then. No browsers open, nothing. Just the game. Idk why it wasn't working on you two (or anyone else) for MONTHS while I myself had tested this beforehand. It's strange.

I guess the developers skipped the QA testing after adding DLCs smh, so it's not a surprise that I encountered smth like game crashes quite often, even if I'm not in a match.

Maybe it's because of my game settings. Maybe it's because of pure coincidence. Or maybe it's because of the computer setups we have. Idk.




Edit: Maybe try twice or more if it's still back. If not, don't do anything. Let the timer runs out, then restart the battle again. Otherwise, just hit Alt-F4 and restart the game. Besides, VR battles are typically safe than NWL Tournament where if you quit for any reason (disconnected automatically or ragequitted), your Battle Points will be deducted by 100.

Edit 2: Come to think of it, you guys are running this game in Borderless Windowed, no? It's probably the reason why Alt-Tabbing works on me in that mode. Never tested this trick on Fullscreen or Windowed, but correct me if I'm wrong.

actually, i've tried to play windowed mode, and black screen issue was fixed same way, alt-tab worked as fix for black screen for both modes, but not work any more

Nah, don't sweat it. I don't bite, actually. In fact, I'm just curious on why the method that was working last year or two somehow didn't work today. Bet my ass someone in the development team has skipped countless and countless of QA tests while adding more and more of DLCs.
