I know what you said, and I responded to it. I even expanded on the general topic you could have been referring to with the example of Sasuke (who you can still reproduce just fine in spite of your claims tot he contrary) by mentioning that there are jutsu options which let you equip off-role powers for every role out there and do things that aren't part of the "normal" powerset for your chosen class.
Also, you'd have been better off making both those posts as one, or editing the first one and adding the second line, there was no need to double-post that.
So far, all the ranked play I've seen has been, yes, a random game mode each week. And yes, game modes which encourage "keepaway" type play - knocking people off capture points, or pushing them away from flags. And even in straight combat, pushing or pulling a single player out of position can be viable to open them up for a 1 vs. many fight. If that's not what you're looking for, then... well, yeah, I guess you bought the wrong game. Sorry to hear you bought a team-focused game and were disappointed that it's built around teamwork?
Maybe you should do actual research about a game before buying it next time? I still haven't bought it because I do my research. But what my research tells me so far is that I'm probably going to really enjoy the game when I get it.
And yes i do want a change for planetary.
The point is i shouldnt have to switch from what i like to play because a team is spamming sand shield/snake arms. This whole idea of "we know u like to play this way, but thats not gonna work in this game" is dumb. I play games for fun, not to have other people tell me how to play. I want to be a ranged ninjutsu user, but when im against a all sand shield team, im supposed to change abilities... thats lame, boring, and not fun.
i choose to not run sand shield counters on my healing and ranged loadouts, knowing full well what that means. i'll be better in other areas because of that.
As mentioned, Sasuke's sword is unlockable as a unique variant weapon for the ranged class (it's not just a reskin of the kunai, it has slightly different combos).
What you *CAN'T* do is use Chidori or a fireball jutsu that's a ranged ability and have sharingan as an equipped ability. Because THAT is class-locked to attack because you get it from Kakashi, and is kind of silly not to be available to other classes. Similarly, Neji's palm rotation is a defense class ability, but you learn Byakugan from Hinata, and she's a healer so that's only available to healers and the two can't be used together.
I hope that SOME abilities are unlocked or have less limitations - like some jutsus that can be attack/ranged or healer/defense or other multi-role combinations depending on the jutsu. And I hope that happens with some of the weapons as well - there are things which make sense to have cross-class access to.
And EVERY class has counters against sand shield. That's totally reasonable to shut down in a wide variety of ways depending on your class. What DOESN'T have any valid or reliable counters is planetary devastation.
And if you have all 4 enemies using sand shield, you still only need 2 people with appropriate counter options to shut them down effectively. And every class (still) has counter options they can use.
So... no, none of your claims are actually true on that part.
And there are multiple ways to improve the speed your ultimate charges, or just being competent at managing when you use it so it's available when you need it. That just makes you sound like you don't know what you're doing.
And how is a game that's SPECIFICALLY AND DIRECTLY ADVERTISED AS 4v4 MULTIPLAYER supposed to be "MMO" exactly? That's... like... you didn't even read the store description. Or look at any of the screenshots. Or watch any of the dozens of pre-release videos about the game explaining what it actually is. Or do literally anything but "It has NARUTO in the title TAKE MY MONEY" then wonder why it wasn't an entirely unrelated game to what it was always advertised to be.
