and you are fine with unlocking skills with real money? I still can't wrap my head around unlocking skills with actual real money...
Edit: little off topic but, people dont question why you continue to pay to go to movie theaters, or restaurants, sports games, etc. that you do in support of said business, but heaven forbid people spend money on a game they actually like and support.
youd laugh yourself silly if i told you how much ive spent on literally useless other than cosmetics dlc for the DOA series, talking hundreds.
I absolutely cannot tell you how to spend your money so can't go there. Now regarding the example you mentioned, if it's the movie theaters it's like if you already paid for the ticket and start watching the movie but a certain scene in the movie is locked unless you pay more, how would you feel? I paid for the ENTIRE GAME, why am I having the need to pay more for stuff in the game that I paid full price for? if it was a game for free I would understand but it is not.
nothing is being blocked from the game/movie because you can still use the justus, you just cant further enhance your experience without additional costing
(just want to put out there, im not like trying to be agressive, just talking)
I guess here is where we diverge, because from my perspective abilities are part of the movie itself and not additional stuff especially when some of the DLC abilities are stronger than the ones in the base game. For me the additional stuff shouldn't interfere with the main game/movie. Popcorn and whatnot are basically what skins and vanities are in-game. You can sell hokage skins, etc but skills is crossing the line in my book and jumping into P2W territory.
if you were wanting to like mix attack/ranged jutsus on one character, you cant do that anyway, you are limited to jutsus within the class you are currently on.
that is what I am trying to do, in my character I want two X class jutsu from two different characters within the same X class and I have to pay for that while I already paid +50$. The only reason I am playing this is because of customization with my own character that makes me roleplay as being part of the naruto universe and they are forcing me to pay to enjoy the customization in it's fullest with abilities. Again I just think we see things in different ways.
It would be acceptable if that extra 10$ I am going to spend is going to unlock all the abilities for me but it unlocks like 3 characters I believe? out of like what +20 character abilities ? and if I want the abilities to be unlocked do I have to pay for the price of another triple A game?
There is a flaw in this argument. If I buy the DLC/Cosmetics/Whatever in this game, I can use it over and over for about the price of going to the movies.
Now if I go to the movies and spend $20 (about that with snacks anyway), I can't go back in whenever I want and watch that movie over and over and over and get free anything after that one visit. So to compare it to a theatre visit actually makes DLC and paywall skills/characters look good.
Man, people like you are the worst. A Movie finishes after 1h-2h and you get what you paid for. Here you can play for lifetime a game as a service. You get everything you need with the standard characters.. if they wouldnt make any dlcs or additional characters to buy, the game would be alrdy closed. Yeah you cannot tell people how to spend money.. But i can tell you the way you think is wrong.
