Striker's Deluxe Edition only contains Season 1 content, the rest have to be bought through season passes.
But really...the two games are completely different. Ive always found Storm and any arena fighter anime game to be too simplified, boring, and for casual players. Storm has a single player story mode tho.
Strikers is a 4v4 team based fighter. Kind of like 3rd person naruto overwatch. Make a ninja, grind learning jutsu from various characters by playing ranked PvP in combat, base, and flag battles or PvE "Missions" and unlocking endless amounts of cosmetics that have perks built into them.
I prefer Strikers.
It just depends on what type of arena fighter you like. Storm 4 is super easy to get a hang of because it plays like any other button mashing anime 1 on 1 game. It recently got an update where people can infinitely sub characters, so be careful with that. You can get Storm 4 and all it's DLC for one price on CD key websites.
Shinobi Striker (No s) is team-based arena fighter where you team up hopefully with your friends (or random people) to defeat the opposing team, mostly. There are 5 different pvp modes...
Combat, kill the other team until their left with no lives or the time runs out.
Flag, capture the flag.
Base, hold bases until you fill a bar or time runs out again.
Barrier, pull up pillars and try to kill Gamabunta.
Survival, in the Chunnin exams stage fight 6 other people and try to get 1st place.
Then there are missions, which you can either do solo or with a group of actual people.
In my opinion, Shinobi Striker offers way more variety and fun. Even though you may think that pvp could get stale after a while, you keep coming back to it. Nevertheless, you must have or find friends to play with. You'll find yourself getting very frustrated if you play this game solo. Also, there are many more mechanics and things to learn, aside from just fighting, such as "how to move".
Atm, the deluxe edition is your best bet to get the game, and again get it on a CD key website. You'll get season pass 1 with that, but the other two you'll have to wait for a steam sale, or if you're balling, buy them now. DONT buy individual characters, invest in the season passes and you also get season pass specific emotes and such in game too. Games like these are never a good price, unless on a steam sale or as I said, a CD key website. (I recommend Kinguin.com)
With the money you'll sale getting it on there, you may be even able to get both games. I'd say both games are a must play if you're a big Naruto fan.
