For example Byakuugan is about dealing internal damage, destroying ninjutsu ("anything which was created with chakra can be destroyed by putting chakra into it"), blocking an opponent's ability to use chakra, controlling how the user moves through slowed down time, and seeing in 360 degrees. The Byakuugan isn't about being a sonar which is why the game implements it incorrectly because ingame the Byakuugan is just a sonar that lets you ping enemy characters rather than do the things that the Byakuugan is actually supposed to do.
