Is it planned? Have the devs talked about implementing a 1v1 pvp mode?
Because, i mean, it's the simplest thing to do, and it would add a lot to the game.
Or at least give us a custom room creation option, with the number of players option.

Custom Match Rooms would fix both the matchmaking issue and will make for a good 1v1 mode, aswell as 2v2 and 3v3, at least when it comes to casual play.
I mean, every game has that.
As for ranked matches, well, that's another story.
As much as i'd like a ranked 1v1 arena, that will require a lot more work, in both terms of balancing and matchmaking.

Yeah, sure, let's play Naruto Ninja Storm online, with little to no customization whatsoever and people just spamming the same characters (Naruto, Minato, Sasuke) every match.
Sorry, but as much as i love Storm, the balancing is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, so is the community.
And, yeah, we can say the same about Shinobi Striker, but at least i can use my own character and be creative about it, instead of being forced into the meta.
As i said, for now i meant a casual 1v1 mode, and overall it still has skill in it, it's not simply button mashing, if you think it is, you must really suck at this game. lol

I mean, yeah, i get it, it's a team oriented game, but that doesn't stop you from having fun on duels or being able to practice with a friend on 1v1.
Xenoverse had it from launch.
Hell, you can even 1v1 on MOBAs, as pointless as that is, and still have lots of fun, at least i had.

idk loll theres hardly any combos for a enjoyable 1v1 but heck throw it in there right.? lol dbx work for the simple fact they had differnt races, more moves(jutsu), and more combos to mix it up a bit. naruto SBS could have done way better with this... but im a naruto fan so its koo regardless for me. lmao.

I can honestly agree with every person who says "this is a team-based game" and "it's not balanced for 1v1" and "this would be stupid and pointless".

Don't care, still think it would be fun. I don't care that it's stupid. I don't care that it wouldn't work competitively. I don't care that the game is built around not being a 1v1 game. Having the OPTION to set up a private match with friends - anything from 2 to 8 players in a group together - would be great. And if that means 2 players can queue up for a private match with only one of them on each team, and have their 1v1 match, as dumb and pointless as that is, I'd have fun with it.
