There are also missions vs AI, even tho you can "solo" them, keep in mind they are balanced for 4 man squads.
Short answer, no. This is a multiplayer game aimed for competitive public. You can even compare it with For Honor or Battlerite.
It's mroe focused on MP
If you're looking for an offline game, you're probably better waiting for Jump Force which is confirmed to have a legitimate story mode.
