No cross-play confirmed

I've been in contact to Bandai Namco's support and they've confirmed that NTBSS will not supports cross-play.

Who would have gussed that a company that has literally never done crossplay wouldn't include crossplay in their latest title.

Implementing crossplay would require creating separate connections to both Playstation and Xbox consoles simply because Sony refuses to allow crossplay with other consoles. That would probably be too much work to code into the game.

Yes it is because Sony refuses to let PS connect with Xbox (and PC and Nintendo systems) even though implementing crossplay is fairly easy.

I don't think it would be problem making crossplay only with either PS or Xbox.

Given the small playerbase, and therefore non-existent matchmaking. Having no cross-play is a huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mistake.

i knew it, coz all bandai's game didnt have cross-play features

At the end of the day, its because BAMCO doesn't want to spend the time/money or resources to do this. It is definitely possible to do. Rocket league for example has this set up so PC can matchmake with anyone. But PS4 is cut-off from the rest of the consoles.

rocket league allows crossplay. between sony and pc players
