I was wondering if this is a sequel to Princess Evangile. I want to buy this but I'm not sure if I need to get the original Princess Evangile all ages version to understand it. What's the difference between the this version and the other? Does the all ages version have different characters or something?

Yes! It was released as a fandisk in Japan back in 2012, and includes four epilogue routes for the original heroines, and 5 new routes for the secondary characters.

How long is it? Is it like the original?

It's a bit different. W Happiness includes the first 13 chapters of the original Princess Evangile common route, but is mostly there to refresh your memory.
Each of the epilogue routes of the four original heroines includes two chapters each, while the new (or "Another Story") routes include four each. You can select which heroine you would like to pursue immediately from the start menu.
