Is the game worth playing?
I know the multiplayer is quite bad and am still hoping it gets fixed in the future, but will the single player alone give enough enjoyment where the game will actually be worth it I mainly want to know because im okay with the grinding aspect of the game but is there like a decent amount of dialog to balance that and are the characters still lovable?

it's a nep spin off game by tamsoft.
the gameplay itself will be poor / unpolished, the scenario pretty basic but the girl will be in character, ie, yes, lovable
If you're in for the nep girls, you're better of watching the game on youtube.

this is a single player game so multiplayer isn't even a focus

Single player mode better then any main line games.

It was good for me, decent amount of dialogue in my opinion, everything seems balanced nicely for single player... just make sure you have a controller... I wouldn't recommend keyboard + mouse (although you would be able to get by with it... just)

thanks i look forward to that then how many hours of gameplay do you think there are in it?

if you rush it, a day. if you take your time....a day.

It's pretty much the second best Neptunia game (right after VII). About how long it is, it's pretty much as the guy above said, it lasts for a day if you play is casually, AKA 24 hours or so. Getting 100% takes a few more hours, and the multiplayer adds a couple more. You can get up to 40 hours from this game so it's definetly worth the current price.

not at all, while every game plays in some sort of chronological order, they each have their own story and can be played in any order.

Sp is goofy and fun, and our meme overlord nep nep never fails to entertains, if you like those kind of stuff and not take this as a serious game this is pretty fun.

Not going to win any award for the combat or mp, its very basic and strip down.

If you likes to be tri-hard this game isn't for you imo, its very casual.

The only problem in this new nep game in my opinion is the multiplayer.
Like the LazyNeppy said,it's the second best Neptunia game after VII.

I'll have to agree, with the others, pretty much everything (except the unskppable logos at game startup, and the multiplayer) is good, although I'm too jaded, mad, and disapponted to appreciate it.
I really wish the multiplayer worked; that I wasn't lied to like this.

The entire premise is that they are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around playing an mmo together, so there really is no significant connection to the plots of the main games. There are basic introductions for the main characters, and occasional clarification of points that would be confusing to a newcomer (via blatant fourth wall shattering by Neptune, of course)

Starting the series on this game would be fine, but to fully appreciate it I would reccomend playing Re;Birth1 and/or watching the Hyperdimension Neptunia animation first.
