How I beat 4GO
I spammed Nepgear at the third dungeon in the game (the shrine to the goddesses), eventually levelling her up to level 50 so that the rest of the party has a chance to not die when I make them get XP there. Eventually I just abused Nepgear's ability to melt stunned bosses via her field DoT effects and by the time the game gave me a legitimately hard boss (Cheetah and the Demon King) I was so overlevelled with Nepgear and I had revives jutting out my left asscheek that I pretty much violated any sense of dignity I had.

What a magical experience. I wonder what happens with the eighth level guild stuff when it's finished. Should I keep my current strat of ranged characters (and Vert vs the mobs) or would a boss develop a counter to this degenerate way to play the game? Would there be character-exclusive quests? Quests that force players to use certain team compositions?

Now nepgear's level 70+ btw.

I don't know about Nepgear having a "field DoT effect". Towards the end, I mostly focused on Nepgear destroying the guard gauge, then switching to melee-ish character to remove the HP.

Late game bosses tend to have AoE attacks that they trigger when their HP gets low, to either wipe your party or cause a sh*tload of damage. Idea Factory seems to like these nowadays; Fairy Fencer bosses do this as well.

As for whatever it is you are doing -- I don't think there's any difference throughout the game.

Not like the game is hard no matter what character you use, without purposefully going out of your way to overlvl the content, I litterally beat the game using only Ram (well used neptune untill I got her), and no NPC's in my party ever, and the game was still easy, ohh and by the end of the game she is sitting on a measly 137 defence, ie. effectively non-existant (due to gems that increase attack but decrese defence by A LOT), That is how easy this game is. And yeah I did that run as my 2nd run through the game, hopeing to actually get some difficulty out of the game... but well game still failed to present any real challenge

The skill that puts the circle of fire/ice/etc on the ground. Gets rid of a lot of HP in my experience when you stack them.

There's tons of ways to do massive damage with minimal effort at much lowers levels. The PC port also has the double damage bug which makes bosses more of a pushover.
