Also - there should have been an "unstuck" button if you hit escape while in a game.
1. Go to NFS_Character folder in the game location (In my case: E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Hobo Tough Life\HoboRPG_Data\Save\76561198095541201\NFS_Characters), there you can find many files, sort them by a date. Hobo is saving game automatically, you will see 4 backups of your game, in my case:
3fddab47-efca-46bf-9d54-a779dada4030_ls (last save)
3fddab47-efca-46bf-9d54-a779dada4030_lws
3fddab47-efca-46bf-9d54-a779dada4030_b1
3fddab47-efca-46bf-9d54-a779dada4030_b2 (oldest save)
739df9ca-8333-4379-8ecf-b5eeef778b52_ls (another game)
739df9ca-8333-4379-8ecf-b5eeef778b52_lws (another game)
etc...
2. Find the wanted save file you want to restore. For example, I died at 11:30, so I will select save file before that time. Delete other 3 files and rename the end of the wanted save file (before death) to _ls
Example:
The same file before: 3fddab47-efca-46bf-9d54-a779dada4030_b1
The same file after: 3fddab47-efca-46bf-9d54-a779dada4030_ls
Continue playing, it will automatically start from the file which is ending "_ls" :)
------------------------
Note: not everything will be rollbacked, if your hobo emptied the trash bin before you died and now are you returning the game to the point before that, you will see the trash already emptied. There's no need to deal with this, but if it bothers you, you can do a similar procedure with the other folders of the game, not just NFS_Characters..but I haven't tested it.
