BUG: rebinding keys not working

hi all,
I just bought the game since it looks to be amazing, but I have a keyboard with azerty layout and it looks like the keybinding doesn't work.
Has anyone else had this issue?

I made sure I changed the keybinds: https://imgur.com/a/tAOQxvP
But it still uses the old WASD to move.
I tried shutting the game down completely, creating a new game, and while it shows my new custom keybinds in the settings, it keeps using the default ones.

Am I missing something or is it a known bug?

I tracked down the setting files that stores the new keybinds
(C:\Users\<name>\AppData\LocalLow\Perun Creative\HoboRPG\keyMappingRewired.txt) and there as well all seems to be changed fine to my preferences:

Thanks for reporting. It seems that the rebind system is broken and it doesn't get applied once changed. Working on a patch

I also ran into this, after purchasing the game this week. Please let me know if there's a patch or a workaround, hopefully before the refund deadline runs out!

I have the same problem, too. I usually heavy modify keybindings for my need. This is the first game in AGES I play on default bindings, because it's a very interesting survival sim. Thx devs. & hope we can get a fix.

Hi, hot fix repairing key rebinding was just uploaded to steam. Thank you for reporting this and sorry for the technical issue.
