I see there is a couple of new players, and I've spent way too much time on this game. Ask your questions.

Do all players in a co-op session receive the Hobo King achievement together, or are players effectively competing to individually learn it?

You are competing. It's a race for the title of Beggar King.
Edit: The achievement is shared though.

I could use some help. I've finally got some street survival tactics and now I'm going to start with base building.

So far I've only been using a bed under some shelter but now I want to expand. Any good spots or tips for getting building materials like rope, wood etc.

Is there a way to rotate walls for your shelter on the steam deck? I can't figure it out. I got on my PC to see if I could load up the game and do it from here but the cloud files won't sync.

- Langos let you steal scrap metal and later building material packs. You can scrap those on your working bench for a ton of building material.
- Brown bins and boxes behind industrial buildings are also your friend.
- Piles of wood contains...wood. :P
- Monty (Crazy's camp) will sell you all building materials except binding wires (you get those from scrap metal anyway). He also buy the useless trash and trash you collect from the bins!
Edit: Miss Spurna (near the pawnshop) sells materials too :P

Sorry, I don't know what is the equivalent of the mouse wheel for the steam deck.

I need help reconciling with Tonda. I somehow managed to piss him off, probably because I beat up a couple of homeless people. But I still have active quests for Masha and Honza, is it possible to reconcile with Tonda to let me back into his house? Or not? You know I have a map where I have 50 hours of pure gameplay and I don't want to play it again because of that.

Hello. I am few days in and i learned how to survive, but for some reason i cannot acces stash. When i go to hideout and open inventory, i dont see the "box tab" on top left. Do i need to build something to have acces to it, or is it locked behind some quest, or it is bugged? Thank you for help.

If you are in hardcore mode: it won't be available. If you are in normal mode: it should be at the right of crown tab. Make sure you are in the ideout boundaries (you can press tab to be sure)

Oh wow, i accidentaly started the game in Hardcore. There is probably no way how to turn dificulty back to normal, right?

No, the difficulty get locked after you create a world.

Do you start a new race for beggar king with every new season or after you become king can someone take your throne?
