Where is Shrug? + best clothing?
In-game I smell so bad that the charity won't let me shower/stores won't let me buy wet wipes/soap. I know Shrug will let you shower but I've spent the last two hours looking for him and I just cannot find him. Does anyone know where he is?

Also, does Shrug sell the best clothing or is there someone better? The one time I met him, he had the best clothing I've seen so far regarding cold/wet resistance.

Thanks!

If you're stink is 100%, you can run the dumpsters all day until you find soap/wipes to lower personal smell. Hitting the poo icons will do a little damage to clothing and increase smell, but your hobo already reeks so no big deal.

Shrug is in the business district. If you have the good map, go until your marker is on the "ess" bar of business. Basically head into the park from where you come up from the game's start point. Then go right somewhat until you hit the "mall" looking area, go into the alley with the red Tetoden kiosk, go to the left a little until a smaller alley is on your right (it has posters all over it), go left as you exit that and Shrug should be there.

I won't say Shrug has the best clothes, but his are pretty damn good. He sells clothing as does the pawn shop. The charity and seamstress will give clothing once a day. I run through them all each day because very very rarely, they have epic clothes for 1300-2000 that seem to be the best in the game. I never had enough at the time to buy them, but I'm still keeping an eye out.

Yeah I guess, but I don't have guts yet, so I have to use the bathroom (or just poop my pants again) and I've actually ruined my clothing to the point of it hurting my HP, because I was looking for wet wipes/soaps in the trash. If you don't mind me asking, do you know at which percent your sphincter goes loose? I was at 60% and ate something that gave me +5 in food and it jumped straight up to 100%.

The best clothing I've seen so far were 1000$ and 4000$ jackets that Shrug were selling. Was planning on buying the 1k coat, but then I couldn't find him again lol. The seamstress does not give me any clothing? She only asks me to leave even when I don't smell. But then again, I don't have the option to give her any carnations yet, maybe that's why? The charity haven't given me any jackets/coats, but plenty of shoes and pants, so I really need to buy a better one. Thank you for all the information!

I've found anything over 60%ish percent to be a no man's land so to speak. You never know exactly when you will "lose control". If I have any doubt I go to the public toilet/one with guts spot, strip all my clothes off, eat whatever, then poop asap. It seems to take a moment to go from whatever % to lost control. that way if I lose control I only stink myself and not my clothing. With enough dumpster diving items, going from 100% to 0 is easy

You may have to do the quest line completely to unlock the steamstress as a vendor. I don't remember if an npc person or a hobo told me of her. I know you can give her carnations or strange/remarkable cloth, get your clothes mended, ask for clothing or materials, and get rum if her trust/patience is at 50.

I just bought the 4k jacket off Shrug this morning. I'd never seen it till today. I went back to him 10 minutes later to sell off lesser clothing and he had the 1k jacket up for sale, so you never know when the vendors have the good stuff it seems.

Now after I've payed Shrug to shower, I keep finding wet wipes/soaps... bad timing. But yeah, the highest I've reached was 65% and then I immediately shat myself.

I talked to the priest who told me about her and I can get clothing from her now, but I still can't give her anything.

I want the 4k jacket badly, but I still have the same jacket that I was wearing in the beginning and it's at 0/20 and I don't wanna spend fabric to repair it, so I'll just go for the 1k jacket for now, I think, because I don't know how fast it's gonna get really cold and I'm 2k short still.

seems no one plays this game too often to tell you some tricks.
Kinda knew this when it came to steam to be honest. Now 1,5 years later, my thoughts were true:) Keeping an eye on this until it's released. Till then.

Shrug has best clothes are Polar expedition jacket and polar expedition pants .. both with 30/30 base protection.. they will cost you an eye, arm and left kidney..(as they are 3000 or 4000) but they are totaly worth it. I am now in season 4 and temps like -18C dont make my temp go down.

I am playing this game a lot.. i had short pause before last update as i was annoyed with patience recharging bug.. but now its fixed and im back. problem is that i live in China... so timezone makes it hard to find non-chinese players (and yes they play this game a lot)
