Would be nice to have menu, inventory and dialogues pause the game when playing solo.

Thanks for your feedback. We will add game pause when playing solo, but for now only when you press escape.

When you press escape the game says something like The game is running. So it seems there is no way to pause the game. It is very frustrating. Please implement the pause.

The only pause is when you get to title screen, which is not such a problem since the game has instant loadings, but anyway...

The game turned pretty great but it is a bit disappointing to see this issue hasn't been solved.

I don't understand the need? The game loads really fast when you quit to menu? Am I missing something here? You guys are all silly..

I end up skipping through all the dialog because I don't want to waste precious time. The clock runs faster than real life but I can still only read real life speed. Why has this pause in menu not bee been implemented.

Apparently you can not read? The game loads fast when you quit to menu as a "pause"

This pause thing is still bearable, especially if you already hit your 2nd season. Just pray that you can get all the votes you need before 3rd season, because you cant skip the day or make it faster

This is a good solution, but it was a pretty important thing when it was requested four years ago and it's just silly now. In game theory terms, players are actually worse off than the hobos shown because at least the hobos can take a dump without being punished.

I'm lost. If you're in dialog with an NPC why wouldn't you still be affected by cold, hunger, morale drain, energy drain, rain, snow, etc?? If you literally want to pause the game it takes about 2 seconds. I do it all the time when RL strikes (too often). Yes it sucks when you fall to the ground "beat up" because you were staring at the inventory screen. Maybe a better solution is to have your stats/status info in view while doing these things.

You don't have to be lost. I will explain it to you. This is a game and people should enjoy playing games. The problem is that some people are frustrated because of the unpaused dialogues. They are so frustrated that often they just skip them so that they didn't waste time. You are right it is like in real life but again - this is a game and people don't play games to be frustrated.

I understand "frustrated" but more because when you start out the game with little to no information on how to play, you end up "beat up" and have no idea why. That's frustrating and doing Quests that don't make sense are frustrating. Reading the dialogue is frustrating if you end up "beat up" from sitting in dialogue too long but you would have to stay in dialogue for quite while for that to happen. Not to mention how many times do you have to read the exact same dialogue before you know what that 2nd option is?

apparently you cant read or you would realise this doesn't help with time to read dialogue
