The end of Super Monday Night Combat
Hello SMNC fans!

We want to thank all of you for your support of Super Monday Night Combat. Your passion is what made this game a pleasure to work on.

However, due to the upcoming European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) deadline which is May 24th, we are sad to announce that we will be shutting down SMNC on that day. The game will remain active through May 23rd, 2018. Once our servers have been taken down, you will no longer be able to play SMNC in any game mode, so please make sure to get those matches in while you can.

As a special thank you to everyone that is still playing, from now until May 22nd, 2018, we will be giving you a gift of $10,000 of in-game currency. In order to get this, please contact our support team by emailing support@uberent.com or opening a ticket at http://support.uberent.com/ and be sure to include your ubernet login name. The support team will respond to your request as soon as possible.

Once again, thank you for your continued support and passion and we look forward to seeing you all again in our other games.

I was JUST thinking "Hey, lets check out the MNC forums, I really loved that game and maybe a miracle happened and SMNC finally got an update or something."
Well, yeah...

That's honestly really sad to hear for me.
MNC and SMNC were my favorite games of all time.
The humor, the toony graphics. Never have I loved a game that much.
Which was really surpring to me since MNC is the only MOBA I actually like!
So it is good to know that at least i can play MNC "forever" since that one has offline modes.

But anyways, thanks for bringing me those 2 awesome games.
It will always be 2 magic games to me. And since I am thinking for a long time now to finally start playing Planetary Annihilation Titans, that maybe will be a good start.

Still, thanks for giving us this information. Always a difficult situation to say something like this to the community. I wish you guys all the best for your upcoming projects!

Had a hunch and checked the forums for the first time in a long time... Well, ♥♥♥♥. Do you guys even make other games, and are any of them class based moba/shooters?

Will you at least be publishing the software?

They haven't said anything about MNC yet just SMNC so I wouldn't give up hope on MNC.

Isn't the GDPR meant to prevent companies from selling users data? So why would this SMNC have to close down?

While SMNC was a horribly bad game I loved MNC to a ridiculous level and I heavily played it back then with some friends. There was no game comparable to it and there was no game like it ever after.

Hey Uber, while you're unable to comply to a highly anticipated law, why not make MNC OpenSource? That would be a really nice move.

Or at least disable all collecting of data, let Steam collect what it requires to keep the game playable and release your server software of MNC to the public. That would heavily hit the breaking news.

Damn, I never even got to play SMNC because I could never find a match. Maybe y'all should try it a 3rd time! In the age of eSports, you'd think a game like MNC would be super popular because it's treated so much like a real sport.

MNC(the original at least) was blast. I'd love it if you guys took another crack at it.

So SMNC is gonna get shut down but not the original MNC? I honestly found SMNC to be too silly for my tastes, MNC just had more edge and style to it. Hopefully this will draw in more MNC players.

Hi! I played SMNC for a few hundred hours back in the day, and enjoyed it. While I had since moved on, I'll be sure to come back and have another few romps in its final days.

Things didn't quite work out in the long haul, but I appreciate the time I did have with it. Heck, I even avoided trading away that golden rocket launcher I got as part of a stream prize (and I do recall getting a generous offer for it back in the day)! I'll be sure to give it one last spin around the arena (as well as everyone else).

I hope things look better for you guys on your current and future endeavors!
