Gamepad or mouse and keyboard?

To get the full experience /satisfaction is a game pad recommended? But could you just as easily play this game and get the full experience/satisfaction with it.

I like to play games on gamepad but for this one I felt that keyboard was easier for aiming abilities and such. but I don't know , just a preference

Mhmm that's why I started this thread from what the devs said gamepad recommended. But it's reassuring to hear you actually prefer mouse and keyboard. Thanks for ya input.
