Can't get my stuff back

Got the dash and dashed into the new area to the right of the sand area/clocktower. Died in there and it took the dash ability away so I can't get back there at all. What do?

It did? I thought you kept Artifacts when dying...hm. I'd test it...but I'd rather not.

No, you lose artifacts when you die (and all your health upgrades), so this is kind of a game breaking bug if you can't traverse to the area where your zombie self is.

Honestly.. I didn't encounter this problem because I was going for the no death achievement. Simple save when you can, go to main menu, copy your save, and play on the copy. If you die, then back out to main menu, delete it and recopy a new one. It's a little annoying, but a hell of a lot less annoying than having to get your stuff back... especially when it's impossible to get your stuff back like in your case.
